I went to my old high school's annual country fair today, which I haven't been to in a few years. I purchased a tomato plant and some seedlings (bok choy, lettuce and capsicum) for my parent's vegie garden growing out the back, some lollies and two tubs of fairy floss for my sister and cousin.

So the up size in me not able to find a full-time job or getting any shifts from my current workplace (aside from doing marathons of TV shows)?

What a gorgeous day it was today - it felt as though spring/summer has already come and swept winter away. Had brunch lunch at Ripples - had a prawn and beetel salad with fried peking duck wontons, which was pretty nice. Service was a bit 'meh' though.

This is definitely old news, but the loss of Michael Jackson still saddens me greatly. My heart breaks into pieces whenever i see the clip of Paris' speech at the memorial. Rest in peace, MJ. Your music and legacy will always be in the hearts of millions ( Read more... )

It's funny how sometimes you don't notice the obvious until someone points it out to you. In Paris, Jen (drowsyphoenix) and I checked out The Louvre and also one of its infamous painting - Eugene Delacroix's painting 'Liberty Leading the People'.

I'm all sniffly today, and i figured out it's all because of the weather. One minute i'm in the warm European weather, next in the hot and humid Hong Kong weather, followed by the cold Sydney weather. Gah.
